Quaterback's fighting spirit

The chestnut gelding with the pretty blaze has both thrilling athletic prowess and a charming personality. Always friendly and motivated, Quattro is just as happy doing his thing in the dressage arena as he is getting affectionate cuddles at the grooming station.
The Quaterback offspring always gives his best and, even apart from his athletic talents, enjoys a special place in the company and in the family. Ewalia exists today thanks to Quattro – when he arrived at the stables in 2015, he suffered from chronic laryngitis, making him practically unrideable. Out of concern for him, Ewalia CEOs Cornelia and Ewald got to work in their basement to create their first herbal liquid. 

Daily training and schooling

Ewalia's Quattro competes in dressage at the national level, regularly winning advanced classes with ease and presenting himself as a motivated and ambitious athlete. Quattro and his owner are inseparable. The special connection that the two share is evident – Ewalia's Quattro always gives 110% for Cornelia. 

The gelding likes variety in his daily training, and enjoys his days off at pasture. His trainer Karin and owner Cornelia appreciate his athletic ambition and give him loving encouragement. Quattro doesn't always make it easy for his riders – he sometimes bucks for joy in the indoor arena or makes the manège unsafe with his zig zag – and has been known to throw them into the sand occasionally. But he's popular with the stable staff and enjoys getting quick pats on his nose from them each time they pass by his loose box.

Ewalia's Quattro is a special horse in all respects. His unique fighting spirit and his special personality make him the expressive, amiable horse that he is. The chestnut gelding is popular everywhere he goes and enjoys his special standing with the staff, who regularly give him extra treats and affection. 

Destined for greatness

Quattro and Cornelia celebrated their greatest success with a glorious victory for the Styrian team at Austria's federal state team championships. Quattro also regularly wins national advanced-level competitions without batting an eyelash.
